Terms & Conditions
1.The Customer agrees and acknowledges that the use of the services offered by Drivo is at the sole risk of the Customer. The liability of Drivo is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.Customer can rent a vehicle under Drivo platform for Tourist Purposes.
a. Driving license and Aadhar Card,Voter Id Issued by Authority or Institution.
b. Local IDs/Students Must carry their Job/Collage/institution Id Card for the Address Proof.
c. Without absence of Job/Collage ID,No Local IDs are eligible to rent a car under Drivo Platform.
d. Mail your Driving license,Aadhar Card Copy or Other ID & Live Photo to email@example.com for the Pre-verification of your documents.
e. In the absence of any Valid/required Documents the booking will be treated as Cancelled and Rs.500/- is deductible from Total amount Paid.
f. The Customer is authorised to drive under all circumstances , if there are co-drivers , they need to procure the relevant documents at time of booking. Incase of absence of Driving License , the booking will be treated as cancelled and the Refund of security deposit will be forfeited alongwith relevant fines.
a. Minimum 21 Years for Normal vehicles.
b. Minimum 24 Years for Premium Range of vehicles.
4. Over Speeding charges: (Exceeding 80km/Hour).
a. A penalty of Rs. 200 shall be charged on the first instance.
b. An additional penalty of Rs 500/- shall be charged each time from the second instance of speed violation.
c. Incase of multiple overspeeding occurences , the security deposit will be forfeited.
5.Refundable Security Deposit (Payable at Site):
a. Rs.3000/- for Cars & Bikes.
b. Rs.10,000/- For Premium Range Vehicles.
c. Mode of Security Deposit Payment during pickup : Cash / PAYTM / PhonePe/Google Pay / Card Payments /Online.
d. Security Money will be refunded as per the Mode of Payment by the Customer.
e. If Any Violation of Terms & Conditions done by Customer then the Security Money will be Refunded/Adjusted within 24 Hours from the Drop Time in respective Bank Account/ /Phone Pe/ PAYTM.
a. There is Unlimited Kms Offered to the Customer In the Normal range vehicles.
b. 180 Kms/24 Hours is limited for Premium Range Vehicles. Extra per Kilometers Charges is Rs, 30/km Will be charged from the customer.
c. Outside Odisha: Customer Must Inform In Advance if planning to go Outside the Odisha State Border Before Booking.Outside State kilometers is restricted upto 500 Kms (One Side) from Pick Up Location.
d. d.1: Unlimited Kilometers Only applicable On & above 24 Hours Bookings.
d.2: 245 Kms is Limited for 12 Hours Booking.
7. Prohibited Use:
Customers are not allowed to carry arms, ammunition, banned drugs & Pets. In addition, use of car for commercial activity such as product sell and promotion, and carry goods is strictly prohibited. In such cases, customers will be charged a penalty of Rs. 5000.
a. For any speed race or competition;
b. For the purpose of towing, pushing,Marriage or propelling any trailer or any other vehicle;
c. For the primary business purpose of transporting people or operating a taxi service;
d. By any person who is under the influence of (i) alcohol or (ii) any drug or medication under the effects of which the operation of a vehicle is prohibited or not recommended.
e. Illegal Nature:-For the purpose of commission of any crime or other illegal or unlawful activity.
e. Only Renter is authorized to drive the vehicle. If any other person found Driving the vehicle or Sub letting of vehicle then Security money will be forfeited of the renter alongwith an additional Fine of Rs.5000/- and the entire amount of damages (if any) will be recovered from the Renter in case of further rental purpose with a levied fine of Rs.20000/- on the initial renter.
f. Smoking,Drinking & Other Types of Drugs Not Allowed Inside The car.If Anything Found inside the car then it will be chargeble Rs.2000/-
g. If vehicle not found in same condition after trip completion , 300/- Washing charges will be applicable.
8. Roadside Assistance:
Drivo makes reasonable best efforts to provide roadside assistance support in all cases. If, however, a User's need for Roadside Assistance results from a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the User may be charged for the full costs of the service.
9. Late Charges:
a. If the Customer Exceeds the Time Limit without any information or availability of the vehicle before 06 Hours of expiry Of time then it will be Chargeable Rs, 500/- as a fine in addition to extra Per Hour Charge Rs.150/Hr (Hatchback), Rs.200/Hr. (Sedan) , Rs. 250/Hr (SUV's).
b. Extension Rules are Subject to availability of vehicles as per request.
10. Insurance & Damage charges:
a. The company will not be responsible for any damages during the travel, if any damage while travel. Renter should take care of the repair charges by their own up to Rs.25000/- In Normal range vehicles & Rs. 75,000/- In Premium range Vehicles.
b. Insurance claim can be applicable for damage or repaired charges above Rs.25000/- For Normal vehicles & Rs.75, 000/- for premium range Vehicles only. For any excess charges apart from claim amount, the renter will be liable to pay.
c. While travel if any mechanical fault in the car, Drivo will do alternate arrangements without any cost.
11. Vehicles registered with Drivo maybe constantly tracked with advanced telematics for security reasons and reasons deemed fit and proper by Drivo.
12. Drivo is entitled to terminate any Booking at any time without providing any reason and prior notice to the customer.
13. Home delivery:
a. Airport/Station Delivery is free as a part of Complimentary Services by Drivo.
b. Home delivery is Chargeable Rs. 500/- Including Pick up/Drop up within the radius of 15Kms.
14. Cancellation Policy:
a. 25% of The Total Amount of Rental Will be Refunded in case of any cancellations before 48hrs of the booking. 50% of amount will be refunded incase of cancellation within 48hrs to 24hrs of the booking. 25% will be refundable within 24hrs of booking.
b. Rs.500 Will be Deductible on Swiping/Change of Vehicle.
c. If Customer Doesn't Pick Up the Vehicle Within 06 Hours From the Pick up time without Information then the Booking will be Treated as Cancelled and the customer will not be entitled for any refunds.
d. Cancellation refund amount will be credited within 07 Working Days from the Date of Cancellation.
15 : Working Hours: 6AM-11PM on all Working Days.
16. Fuel Policy:
a. The vehicle must be returned by the customer ,upon completion of the booking with fuel at the same level as at start of the booking. If the vehicle returned with lesser fuel than the fuel level at the start of the trip , then refueling Charge will be applicable.
b. Excessive refueling is on sole risk of customer & will not be responsible for reimbursing refueling charges.
